Fr. Santo Arrigo C.Ss.R. BA, MDiv. (St. Michael's College, Toronto, 1989-1993, Majors: Religious Studies and Environment and Resource Management) and (St. Michael's College, Toronto, 1994-1999, Masters of Divinity)
University is a big transition: studies, labs, pubs!, awareness of the world in new ways beyond the walls of a classroom. It was also an opportunity to understand what my faith meant to me. During my time in University (1989-93), I was involved in Campus Ministry at the University of St. Michael's College in Toronto. Through my participation and leadership in CCSA Conferences, Music Minister, Music Director, Student led "Out of the Cold" Program for the homeless, I discovered that God was as close to me as all the students in the room, and that God worked through these opportunities to call forth the gifts that I had been given in my life to serve, to be compassionate, and to build life-long relationships with friends who were like-minded in their faith journey. I look back with fond memories upon these experiences, and have tremendous gratitude for those I met on that journey who have called forth the gifts of God in me to be the priest I am today.
