Uniting students who witness the Gospel on campus.
Rooted in the Gospel of Christ and in the spirit of Vatican II, the (CCSA) works to nurture Christian student leadership, and to support prayerful, prophetic, and pastoral action within the context of Canadian post-secondary education. The CCSA dates back to the first Catholic Colleges 1760's in Quebec and 1860 in English speaking Canada.
The Newman Clubs began in the early 1900's. James Cardinal McQuigan in 1946 formed the first national body of Newman Clubs and Catholic College student groups so as to join Pax Romana (IMCS).
