A Brief History

The Canadian Catholic Campus Ministry (CCCM) and the Canadian Catholic Students Association (CCSA) has developed through close connections and collaboration. The International Chaplain of the International Movement of Catholic Students (IMCS) has stated that CCCM is one of the strongest and most developed Catholic Campus Ministry/Chaplain associations in the world. This is due not only to the close chaplain/student relationship but also due to the tremendous support and leadership that the Canadian Conference of Catholic Bishops has provided since establishing an Episcopal Liaison in 1946 and a National Chaplain (National Coordinator) in 1948.
